our Eid Adha

For once, i didn't feel anything special about our raya celebration.
Firas is down with chicken pox. I hit a quite high temperature yesterday and today, tho the fever has subsides, the cough and flu are still there. The doc at Annexe prescribed me with 2 tyes of cough medicine, 2 types for flu, 2 strips of paracetamol, a strip of strong antibiotics and singulair for a strong and prolonged cough......(letih makcik nak telan sumer tuh huhuhu.)

Anyway i don't feel the urge to cook something special for the family.

But guess what, we're still lucky coz on the malam raya, our neighbour next door gave us a 'dulang' containing ketupat pulut+chicken rendang+daging masak kicap.

And today on the Raya day, my mom+dad+brother came to our house, and mom knowing her daughter is a 'pemalas one', was kind enough to bring nasi beriyani+nasi himpit+kuah kacang for our family. To add to the list, i suggested hubby to buy some sate at Samuri but its shop was closed, so he resorted to another sate stall, of which the taste was indeed good and not bad at all.

So that's basically our raya story. If firas and i are ok, probably we're already at PD right now :p
