GP 21 Days Fitness Challenge

Just a small effort towards a better and healthier lifestyle, so i decided to join this fitness challenge organized by another unit in my division. Not really to challenge myself or to reduce more weight, i just hope my cholesterol reading gets better, and the body fat % shows some reduction at the end of the program.

So 2 weeks had passed until it was launched. We had salsation, piloxing and tabata to date. Some were done after office hours, some during lunch hour. I noticed i need to take enough calories during lunch so that i can keep and sustain my energy level till the end of each exercise session. There was one day where i almost lost my breath and felt lack of o2 after the 1-hr piloxing session, lucky i didn't collapse haha.

Anyway, need to remember that for a balanced lifestyle it will always work at this ratio 80% eat: 20% exercise. To practice the 'eat clean' habit is easy, but to stay istiqamah like forever is the hardest, agree? I admit i fail at this part, for i cannot live without cakes and chocolates :p I can take wholemeal bread or Belvita biscuits for a week and forget about my usual nasi lemak dose, but to forgo cakes and chocolates is like to transform myself to a wholly different person altogether.

This is my body reading, for personal record.

 So the program will end next week, but we're going for a short holiday next week. Holiday means makan-makan and breaching your strict adherence to eating clean. Konfem takde harapan nak menang lah nih! :)

But again we also need to remember, you are what you choose to be, if you want to be happy, do what makes you happy.

Gerak Gempur TM!

Demi syarikat tercinta, kami turut serta menyertai misi Gerak Gempur yg diwajibkan ke atas semua kakitangan eksekutif syarikat. Jangan main2, dengar khabar our CFO pun turun padang pagi tadi (tapi bukan kawasan kami, kalau tidak harus aku nak join satu team dgn dia wakaka).

Utk division kami, kawasan yg di assign adalah Kajang. Yeszaaaa best giler sebab dekat dgn rumah...so tak payah risau2 sesat ke ape ker. Mula-mula time dapat email, dia tulis Taman Sut*ra. I was like OMG tu kawasan rumah aku!!! Kalau betul lah konfem malu giler nak kena pergi rumah jiran upselling bagai :p Then a day after dapat email yg base camp utk berkumpul adalah Taman Kajang Mewah. Hah selamat!

Posing dulu sebelum bertempur! Tok ketua bagi briefing sekejap, then pass dossier yg mengandungi profile customer. Based on the profiles baru kita boleh decide what kind of approach yg sesuai utk that particular customer i.e. upsell, churn reduction, promotion etc.

Van TM yg di assign khas pada hari itu. Customer boleh walk in utk pembayaran bill, immediate installation, complaint, etc

Register at the base camp. Sarapan disediakan..nasi lemak+kuih muih. Tapi ai dah kenyang brekkie kat rumah :)

Team 12 - dari berdua jadi berempat hihi kebetulan semua team IT Sourcing. Budak sebelah ai tu ada rupa cam Piere Andre tak? hehehe

So ini status update utk program GG kami kali ini:

- no response from customer
- big black dog barking continuously (nasib kureng baik sebab rata2 kena rumah Chinese so anjing mmg sakan menyalak kat kitorang huhu)
- aci poor sighting cannot see us (aci ni mmg lawak giler...penat kitorang membebel alih2 dia ckp 'saya tak bley nampak la...wakaka aiseh aci mesti baju oren kitorang yg cun ni aci tak nmpk jugak :p)
- ada this one lady cakap...tamohhhh...tade orang!! we were like...ehh habis yg menjerit tu bukan orang ke? haha klakar bila pk!
- premise closed (yg ni mmg tak tipu...ramai sgt yg takde orang kat rumah, probably sebab Sabtu org keluar kerja kan )
- out of 20 houses, cuma 3 rumah je kot yg tuan rumah keluar dan kami pon sempatlah berbual hati ke hati dgn mereka. Ada sorang pakcik ni lagi ganas...bila bukak pintu je dia ckp....ok sila ringkaskan ape kamu nak ckp. Huishhh garangnya pakcik relaks relaks! Rupanya pakcik ni mmg makan hati dgn syarikat kami sbb time dia nak apply stream*x dulu service agak lambat. So pakcik ni dah serik. ish ish
- ada satu rumah ni klakar jugak. Penat tekan bell, pastu kitorang tergelak besar sbb bell tu keras..keras sbb sudah dicat!! hahaha patutlah takleh tekan :p

Oklah overall pengalaman pertama GG kami seriously mmg fun n full of experience! Kami dah set target..kasik salam or greeting 3x jer kalau no response terus ciaoo. So dlm sejam kami dah complete semua rumah! Then pegi lepak kedai mamak pekena teh ais sebab hari panas giler (mujur bawak payung hihi)...update dossier kejap, then terus report balik ke base camp.

So kami entitle utk sehari book off...suka3x!!

Ok my colleague just got promoted to a higher post..which means i need to cover her portfolio until the bosses find a suitable replacement.

And so the nightmare begins.

10 yrs already! i lurve u T*!!

Tq dear company...for the hard n pain we've endured together. For revealing the truth meaning of patience n passion. For teaching the harder way of climbing up with own's strength rather than relying on others. And for the good news that all of us..the so-called 'amongst the most loyal worker in the co' have been hoping n dreaming for.

Most importantly, tq for funding my degree n masters degree..that i dun hv to worry my parents to dig in their pockets for the education funds.

kerja, vacation-mode, stress dan sebagainya!

Rasanya, petang tadi adalah kemuncak stress di tempat kerja yang pernah berlaku dlm hidup saya bagi tahun ini. Ewah bunyi macam over pulak kan...tapi betul la, i've never felt that tensed before. Sepanjang hampir 1/2jam lepak dlm bilik bos, i may looked calm and composed tapi dlm kepala tu, Allah je yg tahu betapa sakit dan sesaknya otak bila mengenangkan nak kena siapkan report dlm masa beberapa jam....sebelum saya say bye bye to bos and my staff hehe. Dahlah memang dah migrain, bila dpt tahu results bertukar at the very last minute, which means i need to make a major change to the whole report...dusss kepala cam nak pecah...mujur tak muntah je time drive balik rumah. Telan ponstan, had tomyam for dinner, susu and tidokan ammar, and later i took a short 1-hr nap utk rehatkan kepala. 11pm sharp, bangun tido dan terus mengadap pc dan cuba sebaik mungkin selesaikan apa yg patut. And now at 3.34am syukur dah berjaya siapkan report tu, email and file sent to bosses already...and yes insya Allah malam esok saya dan kawan2 akan meninggalkan bumi Malaysia utk ke suatu tempat yg saya fikir mmg boleh release kan stress dlm kepala nih.

Cantik kan gambar kat atas ni? kalau takde aral, next blog update korang nampak lah muka saya dan kawan2 dekat salah satu batu2 ajaib tu posing ala2 poyo sakan nak rak :p

till we meet again in my next update, doakan kami semua selamat pergi dan pulang ke Malaysia...walaupun saya harap dan berangan alangkah indah dan bestnyer kalau dpt tinggalkan ofis barang 2-3 minggu! cess mimpi jela yer dik non!

Amarin Thai

Ok i'm still not getting used with the new blogger settings and template. Terasa sgt lembab nak set the alignment and whatnots. Me and IT never has a good relationship all this while, ironically i am now doing IT-related commodites upon the recent realignment in my unit hoho.

Anyway we had a quick (yet big) lunch at Amarin last friday, to commemorate and celebrate the big B that we just had after all the hard works put thru last year. This time it was on Team 2, next it shall be Team 1 and Team 3's turn pulak. Wahhh we even set up several teams for this haha thanks to aida as tok ketua! I bet the twin, kak tie and zue were the most happiest person that day after the big purchase they made at Hab*b. Senyum lebar salesgirl kat situ haha

Alhamdulillah, paper approved yesterday!! (berkat pakai jubah baru kots ahaksss)

My very first paper of the year okeh…no joke. Arghhh things are getting tougher now.

Today there will be another one paper to be tabled, tomorrow another one. After that I wanna have a break! (sehari je pun cuti on next Monday yes yes yesssss)

Hari yg mencabar for me for the past few days.

Started from Monday-Tuesday, I was away the whole day for the Maybank charity sales carnival. Tiring, dan sangat lembik satu badan, but Alhamdulillah the crowds turned out to be awesome, and we managed to collect quite a lot! Syukur!! A whole new experience meeting up with new people, know their ragam and all, cumanya sampai sekarang macam tak percaya, waahhhh penat giler rupanya berdiri jaga booth!! Balik rumah mmg flat tak larat masak huhu.

The very same Tuesday morning, while I was on the way to the booth, I got a phone call from somebody from the company, asking me to become a witness for a case which the session scheduled to be held today. Nervous makcik, coz I am representing my division, and if I slip out something which I shouldn’t, the whole team may get the consequences. I pray that today I can talk and act likes a pro, and that the truth prevails….and the convict get penalized for his wrongdoings. May Allah helps me throughout the session…amin.

And oh, the birthday boy was down for a fever n flu since yesterday. Still demam today, but we need to send him to taska since hubby got class, and me got to attend the session. Anyway hubby already prepared some goody bags for him to share with his friends, hope that at least can cheer him up :)

because of few things:

1. Pergi site survey dekat manhole pagi tadi. Konon nak turun masuk ke dalam guna tripod tu, tapi agak bahaya takut equipment tu tak stable, pastu kena pakai baju perkakas, topeng tutup gas sumer...ish malas la. Next time saya upload gambar ok.

2. My age according to the scale machine is 24! Sangat muda yer acik suke!!!! Tapi paling penting, fat composition level & visceral fat level below borderline..alhamdulillah takyah risau dah pasni hehe. So Aini (aka pakar penasihat kesihatan kami) nanti bila rajin silalah update result kami semua yer tq dear!!

of so many things!

1. Esok mak mertua nak datang, mlm ni baru kelam kabut nak lipat 3 bakul kain.
2. Bilik sepah, baru kelam kabut nak kemas.
3. Idlan sakit gigi geraham...abah check rupanya macam dah nak rosak (berlubang sket). Silap haribulan terus kena cabut esok lusa ni.
4. Idlan dah pakai spek. Pakar kata bukan rabun, tapi astig (eh betul ke eja ni?)...kes silau.
5. Ammar semakin attach dgn mama, makin kronik rasa. Susah nak buat keje asyik nak kena belek dia jer huhu
6. EBM skang dah berkurangan berbanding dulu. Average 15oz daily. Ammar kurang minum, lebih suka makan! Stok masih banyak, insya Allah cukup utk jangka masa panjang. Tapi pening sebab lepas raya nak kena pulangkan deep freezer kpd ....ehem ehem. Perlu beli barukah???? iskkkk
7. Pukul 11.30am tadi, macam hari ini dalam sejarah pulak setelah sekian lama tak pergi majlis ilmu, Allah gerakkan hati pergi ke surau Menara utk dengar ceramah pasal Keluarga Bahagia Pemangkin Kecemerlangan. Next time saya akan kongsikan sedikit sebyk nota yg dicatit tadi. Rasa lapang dada, rasa tenang hati dan fikiran, rasa insaf seketika.
8. Esok pagi, lagi sekali macam hari ini dalam sejarah, saya tergerak hati nak pergi site survey utk salah satu equipment yg hendak saya beli. Sejak setahun setengah duduk Procurement, rasanye boleh dikira dgn jari berapa kali saya 'sudi' turun ke site. Most of the times, saya akan cuba mengelak dan memberi 1001 excuse (kes malas keluar ofis hehe). Tapi saya dah pesan kat user, kalau nak pegi site survey kat stesen Ulu Kali (dekat Genting Highlands) jgn lupa ajak saya!! Atau pun Bukit Pelingdung...atau pun Langkawi! Bila la agaknya boleh merasa melawat kilang kat oversea...kan best kalo budget division saya besar...confirm dah merata saya pergi :p

Ok sebelum berangan dgn lebih panjang, baik saya masuk tido. Esok nak pegi site kan hehe!

of the ups and downs

Lots of things happened this past few days.

My grandma fell in her house (back in Kelantan), her shoulder sprained and already been cemented, and now she's with my mum in Ampang. Kesian sgt tengok dia, she has diabetic by the way, and the incident happened when she was getting hypo (due to sugar level drop below the borderline) and trying to reach the glucose drink but suddenly collapsed and unconscious. Allah Maha Kaya, it turns out that my brother was in kelantan that time, so he and my SIL rushed my grandma to the nearby hospital. Couldn't imagine what will happen if my bro is not around since grandma is staying all alone in that house. Syukur. My mom rushed back to Kelantan a day after the incident, and immediately brought her to KL, via flight. The funny part, when the flight attendant took both of them boarded onto the flight via forklift. My mom said, Umi pun dapatla merasa naik forklift masuk dlm flight :p

I also got another issue to counter on the workfront. A staff has resigned from our company and decided to MIA, just like that. No handover, no earlier indication, no nothing and i was left dumb-stucked on all the impending work in progress. I am so pissed off initially since me and my bos has been trying to call him so many times to no avail. But finally he got the courage to email to us, apologized and promised to complete whatever he is still owing, and the good part, he said he really regret for his bad misconduct. I replied his email, thanked him for the contributions given to our team, and my last advice to him...people come and go, but make sure you leave with a good name behind. what comes around goes around. Sinis kan? but i hope he got the message clear....serve as a good lesson hopefully :p

Domestically, everything is manageable so far. Kids pun ok alhamdulillah. Idlan is having a good time during this school holiday following my hubby to the office (since we no longer send him to transit). Oh blog did i tell you he scored straight As in his previous exam? (not all actually because he got B for Seni but kira A lah semua since Seni takde dlm exam besar hehe). Ammar is catching a new skill dgn menyusur ke hadapan like a soldier, and yes he got 3 teeths already. My bubbly Firas is becoming more talkative nowadays, talks non-stop but his 'kepelatan' tu is still very obvious! He is very attached to his big brother, if allowed i am sure he even wants to follow Idlan to school :LOL

Ok peeps it's 3.32am in the morning and see blog i never leave you unattended despite the ups and downs that is happening around me. So blog i guess it's time to pen off now. We're going to Melaka tomorrow (yeyyyy!!!) but i am still not done with the packing. See you're still my priority above some other important things!

I am a planner, but when so many things lie ahead awaiting for my action, i think definitely i need some me-time to vent it out (read: the STRESS), a very short one is already suffice as a quick-fix!

Decisive - sangat jugak. Especially sejak masuk division sekarang ni, memang selalu kena buat decision sendiri tanpa refer kpd bos terlebih dahulu.

Fearless - semakin berani sekarang ni, especially part nego dgn vendor. In fact dalam byk2 keja part nego yg paling saya nanti-nantikan hehe. Bukanlah hebat sangat, tapi result atau feedback tu very immediate, hatta terus menguji kemampuan saya sama ada berjaya atau gagal dalam sesuatu projek tu hoho

Business person - i like!!! Memang confirm betul lah ni :)

When the big boss keeps on mentioning your name in a meeting, it sends two signal...

either she appreciates what you're doing and it's kind of giving a recognition...OR

she is expecting more from you and hey you, do expect to receive more works yer!!

Adoiyaiiiii kelmarin sehari suntuk meeting dari pagi sampai ke Maghrib...tu pun ada hati bos mau sambung lagi tapi mujur my immediate bos yg baik hati lagi sporting kasik leeway dekat ai dan kasi ai balik (my typical reason - takde orang nak ambil baby saya dekat nursery bos!!). I bet colleague2 ai yang lain confirm 'jeles' sebab ai dapat special treatment camni. I joked with one of my colleagues....'ko takde anak yg mahu disusukan:p" Ntah pukul berapa derang habis meeting semalam ai pun tak tahu hihi

Dan yang best, sambil meeting sempat lagik tuh bergosip dan beremail cerita pasal AP kereta....sesiapa yg terasa sila angkat tangan :p

Anyway tq yer korang, u light up my day..kalau tidak harus aku pengsan sehari suntuk duk dlm bilik meeting yg sejuk banget tuh!! Dengan sesema dengan demamnya...iskkk memang patut ai dpt excuse balik kelmarin :)

So my dear friend and friend and friend, silalah organize jalan2 cari makan di Sweet Chat yer...penat tau ai duk promote sedari dulu pasal durian pancake dia!! Duk asyik tepek gambar je keje :p
