Irfan Faris turns 1!!

My shepet turns 1 today  Hepi birthday Muhammad Irfan Faris. Moga terus membesar dgn sihat, kuat, suka makan, cheeky dan terus menjadi penyeri hidup mama, abah, dan abang2. We love u loads sayang. Kisshhh sket muahhhssss 

Hepi 7th birthday dear Amir Firas

Alhamdulillah, makin besar anak mama yg sorang ni. Paling cheeky, suka sengih, suka ipad, bila tanya apa2 suka jwb 'emm ntah tak ingat'. Moga Allah terus kurniakan kesihatan yg baik buat anak mama nih, moga dikurniakan akal fikiran yg cerdik, kuat iman, jadi anak yg soleh dan taat pd agama Allah. Mama, abah, abg Idlan, Ammar dan baby Irfan sayangggg Firas!!

Besday kali ni agak special walaupun tiada sambutan yg meriah. Buat pertama kali kami travel blk kg. Irfan 1st time dpt jumpa tok wan :) Dan syukur kami dpt menyempurnakan aqiqah Irfan.

Syukur padamu Ya Allah di atas segala rezeki dan rahmat yg Kau kurniakan kpdku dan keluargaku. Limpahilah kami dgn kasih sayangmu dan iman, lindungilah kami dari segala azab dan musibah, terangilah hati kami dgn cahaya keimanan agar kami terus mentaatiMu Ya Allah.

Hepi 4th Birthday Ammar Fitri!

Nothing fancy planned on his birthday. Nevertheless i made an effort to bake a special cake for him, although a week before that i've actually determined to just buy chocolate indulgence (his favourite!) from SR :p

I started to bake the cake quite late, around 4pm++. Too tired after running some errands from morning till noon. Cake came out from the oven around 5pm++, so while cooling the cake I made a baked macaroni for dinner. In between that I run the mixer and whip the cream cheese, as well as made the salted caramel sauce (nyummssss!). Right after solat Maghrib I rushed again to the kitchen to assemble the cake and prepared the ganache. Ahhh byk steps betul kek kali nih sape suruh buat susah2 haha.

As planned around 9pm, I called out Idlan and ask him to get Abah to come down as we intend to off the lights and turn on the candles. Abah kalut cari lighter (tak jumpa ok hence he resorted to mancis jer), idlan kalut cari hadiah yg kami sorok bawah katil, Firas kecoh2 dekat living hall and hence triggers Ammar whom finally seems to sense that something is going on when the lights went off suddenly. Last skali tak sempat mama nak bawak kek ke living hall Ammar dah lari masuk dapur dulu dan nampak lilin atas kek tuh…haishhh tak sempat nak surprise nyanyi utk dia!!

Hepi 4th birthday my dearest Ammar Fitri. Anak yang paling mudah dijaga, paling senang dibesarkan dan jarang jatuh sakit, paling lama breastfeed dgn mama, dan of course paling attached dgn mama! Bila difikirkan agak sedih juga bila dah keluar adik baru nanti, takut mama kurang fokus dan perhatian kpd dia. Harap2 Ammar akan terus manja dgn mama walaupun dah ada rival nanti hehe. Moga anak mama sentiasa dilindungi Allah, membesar dgn sihat, bijak dan menjadi anak yg soleh. We all luv u loads dear!!!

8.8.2014 - Firas turns 6!

Syukur Alhamdulillah, our small family gathering cum Firas’s birthday celebration turned out well and proceeded as planned. Being a mak yong who is still in the early stage, I had to take an off day on Friday to do the prep i.e. do the shopping, siang ayam daging, masak nasi impit and agar-agar, etc. Me and hubby also had a quick outing to Jusco for my birthday’s lunch treat and scouting for Firas’s birthday gift. I’ve also intended to bake a marble cheese brownie the same day, but the plan did not materialize anyway. Too tired already plus we also had open house jiran that night which the mommies (especially!) mkn2 and borak like nobody business from 9.20pm until almost 12 midnight! huhhh

Saturday came, I hit the kitchen as early as 4.30am. Sambung siang daging (semlm tak sempat kiki), stopped for Subuh prayer and started the cooking process. Line ups of the day – nasi beriyani, ayam masak merah, kari daging, acar timun, nasi impit, lontong, sambal ikan bilis, serunding daging, rendang daging (import mak punyer hehe), agar2 gula Melaka, kek lapis Sarawak (bos kasik), watermelon and air oren. I don’t have a big rice cooker, hence need to cook the nasi twice.

Penat? yes definitely. I had to take panadol that night, mmg sakit kepala yg amat. Happy? of course!!! Seronok dapat jamu orang2 tersayang dengan hasil air tangan sendiri yg tak seberapa. Most importantly, the chance to strengthen the loves n bonding that already exists amongst us, that’s priceless. Our kids especially the birthday boy pun mmg sgt2 hepi dapat celebrate besday dgn cousin2 mereka…Alhamdulillah.

Do we want to have another round of makan2 next year? Insya Allah. tapi catering la kotss hihi…tak larat la nak masak utk ramai orang. Kudrat dah kureng…baru masak sikit dah sakit pinggang yg amats.

Hepi besday Nek Umi!!

Baked a special cake for the most wonderful n beautiful person in my life. Happy birthday Umi. May Allah bestow u with good health n rahmah. We all love u very very much!!!

Happy 5th Birthday dear Amir Firas!!

He was borne on 8.8.2008 (same with me! hehe) at 1041pm, apparently it was the start of an Olympic Games in Beijing for that year.My gynae suggested that i go for induce, so that we can share the same birth date haha. Giler tak panik time dengar tuh...as his initial EDD was 15.8.2008. So we had several round of calls to my mil, colleagues n friends just to get their opinions...should i give it a try or just wait for natural birth :p

 

well we finally settled for an induce. Dari 9am menunggu....pukul 1041pm baru dia kuar phewwwww. My gynae had actually said...rasanya takde harapan awak nak dpt baby 8.8. That time i was like uwaaaarghh menyesalnya induce! That's why for Ammar's case i waited for natural birth hehe serik woo!

Despite us sharing the same birth date, our character was different altogether. Dia ni keras hati, susah nak menangis (unlike mama dia yg sgt la senang meleleh hihi), sentiasa ceria dan suka benar sengih. Perangai dia pon sgtla kontra dgn Idlan...tapi takper, kami percaya setiap anak tu ada kelebihan dan kekurangan memasing :)

Cup cakes project for his birthday celebration at tadika today. 120 cuppies altogether, a mix of vanilla buttercake and choc moist flavor..with buttercream frosting. Sgt penat ok. Sabtu mlm start membakar...Ahad pagi sambung ke petang pulak mendeko...ntah brape jam terperap di dapur uhhh sgt penat! Nevertheless i hope he will have a great birthday celeb today with his friends....

Done baking these two birthday cakes today. Melepek acik..especially time deko kek si bujang tu. Playing with the colors was not sooo cool!! haishhh

He wanted for a cake with Ultraman edible image. unfortunately almost all images were sold out. Only few.pcs left...the one with dora...n barbie the princess. konfem kena reject bulat2 kalo beli tu haha. So i resorted with ready made sugardoll with animal.characters...kiut la jugak...bolehla utk budak 5 tahun :)
