Geng Lunch @ Salero Negeri Amcorp Mall

Another fulfilling lunch trip by Geng Lunch, this time we decided going to Amcorp. The twins n kak tie kinda expert wth everything about Amcorp..the layout, the food stall & even the shop that sells blouses as cheap as rm15! Dasat korang seh!!! As for me, i think this is my 3-4th visit here ever since i worked in menara...agak koman ok haha!

Back to our lunch, this restaurant serves masakan Padang/Minang's style. Quite an extensive range of lauk pauks to choose from..taste wise ok n sedap...well kalau x sedap takkan ade org sampai mintak nasi tambah kan :p

We had ayam goreng rempah, daging salai, keli goreng, lemak pucuk ubi, terung goreng cili, gulai urat ketin (erkkkk semah suke bangat nihh)..oso tapai aiskrim & sagu gula melaka for dessert.

The damage?? Ermm not sure exactly since it was Farra's treat tis time. ..pepe pon tq beb moga murah rezeki slalu!!

Lepas lunch sempat melilau ke 2 kedai. Semah berjaya menyambar tudung 'perth' while me farra & aini menyambar blouse 'perth' hehe cam poyos sumer beli sbb perth :p

So nx visit A&W plaks ok...ramai mommy2 yg mengidam waffle ice cream yg sedappp itu!! Opss dlm gambar ade 3 members yg missing...ade sorang tu bz pegi menempah baju raya :) haaa korang dah beli ker???

Restoran Sup Urat Ketin Seksyen 7, Bangi

Sekali cuba, pasti nak lagi! Teringat masa zaman pregnant dulu, hubby slalu bwk mkn kt sini. Sup dia power..sedap bangat! All kinds of soup ade..sup daging, tulang, ayam etc..paling femes is urat ketin. But believe me, so far dh brape kali mkn sini x penah ade kekuatan nk try mkn urat ketin tuh...takuttt!

Apart from soup, sate dia pon sedap. Sedap from Samuri but still cannot beat Willy.

Sape taknak mkn sup, goreng2 pon ade. Time siang, dia jual nasi lauk.

Ambience ok..dulu agak crowded, tp now dia dh expand jadik 2 kedai..so agak selesa jugakla.

Ok sekian review ikhlas utk restoran sup uk..takyah gi jejauh nk mkn sup sedap :p

(19) Carrot cake- few slices a day won't guilt you!

Ok so on Friday night i made marble cheese brownie for Aida. Then told myself, why not i forced myself to bake one 4 our family. So carrot cake it was then! Use the very same recipe given by Farra (check out under the label recipe), i baked the cake on Sunday morning and only managed to frost it wth cream cheese in the afternoon..after we got back from Firas's Sports Day.

What a tiring but fruitful weekend!

Idlan's done wth his exam, firas wth its rumah Kuning got no 2, and i got the fridge stuffed up wth delicious carrot cake haha

Ok now i got to get back to work! Still hv piles of unfolded clothes to attend to..bosannyerr!

Ordered by my neighbour but ended up given out to our kids' teachers @ the tadika during sports day this morning. Surprise kek teachers day gitu :)

Looks like i now bake once in a month gitu...bila bz, its kinda difficult to get back the momentum hurmmm

GengLunch @ Seoul Garden, Plaza Pantai

It was supposed to be our final luncheon gathering for bonus but since Farra couldnt make it towards d very last minute, no calling off yet!! There'll be another one last friday next wk..on Farra's of course hihi sian ko!

Anyway here in Seoul u can opt to hv steamboat either wth chicken or tomyam soup. Majority will go for tomyam of course. Wide variety of servings they had, ranging from diff types of marinated chicken, beef, fish n oso some seafood like kerang, kepah n udang. Dun like something meaty? No worries coz they oso hv yong tau foo kind of things like fish ball, crab ball, tauhu n mcm2 lagikla.

Now u wanna hv some anti-ocxidant to detox all d calories & bad cholesterol...u may go for some vegies like kangkung, bayam, sawi, chinese cabbage n bendi!

After detox to wrap up ur visit, never say goodbye without first tasting their dessert! Cendol ada ABC ada jeli n puding ada rojak ada andddd yg paling saya suke...ehemm ehemm aiskrim laa per lagik!! Siap pulun 2 mangkuk tuuu opss pity my stomach :p

Oh lupa, air free- flow yer.

Just take enough food 4 yourselves n do not waste. Any leftovers will be charged accordingly.

And be prepared to come back to office like a walking bbq pit as Kak Tie called it hihi tudung konfem bau mcm arang terbakar! Iskk

New Hair Cut

First time abah bawak pergi potong rambut dekat kedai. Baik rupanye dia, behave jer all way long. Kalau kat rumah time potong dengan mama, bersilat dan menjerit sakan bagai nak rak dalam toilet!!

Kira rambut pendek utk pegi Perth la ni hihi tak sabarrrrrrrrrrrr (rasa nk jerit pon ader hoho mode stress kes byk keja pending :p)

ayam bakar wong solo

Family gathering at Ayam Bakar/Penyet Wong Solo. Located near balai polis Tmn Dagang Ampang. We took set 4 consists of 6pcs chicken, 2 fish, 2 squids, 2 sup ekor, 2 fried kangkung, 2 tauhu n tempe set & 10 bottles of mineral water. Total price for this set is rm178. Fruit juice costs u around rm5-7.

Taste-wise...sedap especially ayam bakar dia!

Ambience sgt ok...rasa selesa duk bersila meja pjg. They also provide normal table n chair settings at G flr.

Overall review- recommended!

Geng Lunch @ Noodle Station MV

As promised n planned, the second lunch celeb was held at 'Nudle Station' as spelt by k.tie :p. Majority of us chose its Springy noodle in tomyam soup. Its ice blended mocha n chocolate were awesome..highly recommended! Its prawn fried wanton also taste delish! Banana split ok...black pepper wings pon ok. Whats important, price-wise is reasonable...at least thats wat matters most when we choose to dine out isnt it?

Pepe pon, we had a fun chilled-out girls session dat day. No major damage done. Perhaps everyone is insaf already after series of shop-till-u-drop done on the previous week hoho

Ok i'm still not getting used with the new blogger settings and template. Terasa sgt lembab nak set the alignment and whatnots. Me and IT never has a good relationship all this while, ironically i am now doing IT-related commodites upon the recent realignment in my unit hoho.

Anyway we had a quick (yet big) lunch at Amarin last friday, to commemorate and celebrate the big B that we just had after all the hard works put thru last year. This time it was on Team 2, next it shall be Team 1 and Team 3's turn pulak. Wahhh we even set up several teams for this haha thanks to aida as tok ketua! I bet the twin, kak tie and zue were the most happiest person that day after the big purchase they made at Hab*b. Senyum lebar salesgirl kat situ haha

Alhamdulillah, paper approved yesterday!! (berkat pakai jubah baru kots ahaksss)

My very first paper of the year okeh…no joke. Arghhh things are getting tougher now.

bila dah lama tak shopping....

but suddenly u just find the time to do so....nahhh these are the damage.
Enough to broke my pocket till the next payday!

(1) Denim dress in black. Blame it to kak tie for keep on promoting the website to us. Now i'm hook up to their items and cant wait to receive the new updates. But thanx to kak tie (she again!) who is willing to sell off this piece to me at no additional cost hehe...sayang akak!!

(2) i can proudly say that i'm one of the first few customers who managed to grab this piece before it went sold out. Seronok bangat!!!

(3) It's a Legacy Stripe Hippie! courtesy from my hub nyeh nyehh bonus belum dpt lagi tapi sudah pau??? tq Yang!! kira sling bag utk pegi perth nanti la :)) saya sukeeeee!!! Sebenarnya dah lama aim nak tangkap legacy stripe seketul..be it wallet ke wristlet ke tote ke tapi slalu takde rezeki...kali ni mmg rezeki berpihak kpd saya...syukur :)

(4) Sepasang kasut yg baru ditangkap siang tadi. Kalau rajin next time saya snap pic ok.

So that's it. Enough utk membalas penat lelah for the past few months yg sgt hectic dan mencabar (sampai nak blogwalking around my circle of frens pon tak sempat huhu sedey sedey).

Next will be dinar insya allah. KitchenAid mixer shall remain in my wish list dan tak pasti bila boleh materialise. Too expensive to buy in Malaysia...rasa tak sanggup nak spend that much on mixer. So i'll just stick to my old Phillips mixer yg sudah byk berjasa sejak tahun 2005. Still up and running good ok....after all despite using al-cheapo mixer my cakes still taste good dan menjadi hehe no complaint yer!! Kalau nak beli KitchenAid pun kena berdoa lah mintak2 adalah chance pegi site visit ke factory visit ke kat UK haha berangan tak sudah :p

Marble choc cheese brownie

Yes i admit that i haven't baked for nearly a month, due to the fact that works are too taxing, deadlines everywhere, meetings almost every single day, and night time was spent preparing decks or write-up. This is my life now, after almost a month of having internal realignment within the unit and changing to a new portfolio. Well, the first few weeks i was complaining and grumbling, rasa nak marah jer hokay. But now reality hit in and i took it as 'pasrah and redha' sajalah. Cheer up hey you!!! this is not the end of the world after all hoho

Oh today i took MC, my very first MC for the year actually! Started with nausea in the evening after i got home, then around 12am midnight had few rounds of diarrhea plus vomiting. Bergilir dgn Idlan pulak tuh! hahhh so today both of us had MC and nesting at home.

Now let's have a peek at this beautiful brownie. I accidentally over-baked it for about 5-10 minutes, hence the dry and not-so-moist brownie texture i had last week. The oven has emitted a sound telling me that the bake is done but since i was breastfeeding and putting ammar into bed that time, i let the brownie to stay still in the oven and there u go....sedikit dry! isk isk.
But anyway my colleagues said it still tastes good haha so no worry if u don't overbake this you'll be getting a very good brownie ok! I've been using this recipes for many times and it never fails me everytime :)

MARBLE CHEESE BROWNIES – from rima bisousatoi, source rincchan fotopages

Ingredients
Brownie
250g butter
1 cup of cocoa powder
3 eggs (grade B)
1 1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk - i use fresh milk
1 1/2 cup flour (flour has to be sifted with baking powder and soda bicarbonate)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda bicarbonate)
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
1. Melt butter... Mix cocoa powder and stir till well blended.
2. Handwhisk egg and sugar till combine. Add it to ur butter-cocoa mixture.
3. Add in evaporated milk till incorporated.
4. Add flour mixture bit by bit and stir well. Lastly add ur vanilla essence
5. Heat oven 175C. Grease 10" x 10" pan with grease proof paper... let the paper stick out on both side so as its easy for u to take out ur brownies once bake.
6. Pour brownies mixture.. leave 2 - 3 tbsp of brownie mixture for marble effect on cheese layer.
7. Bake for 20 mins... i baked mine for 30mins (but i think you should bake for only 20-25min)

Ingredients
Cheese Layer
250g cream cheese
1 cup castor sugar
1 egg grade B

Method
1. Beat cream till fluffy and light
2. Add sugar and beat well.
3. Add egg and mix till well blended
4. Bake at 175C for another 20 mins

Note: Pour cheese mixture onto bake brownie... pipe marble effect on cheese mixture ...

Sori out of topic sket. This is mee bandung muar that i made last 2 weeks, using perencah originally imported from Muar hehe. Rasa sedap, cuma tad bit pedas so my youngest two couldnt take it :(
