Cuti-cuti Pangkor-Genting Highlands

Kata orang, kita hanya merancang tapi Allah Maha Mengetahui dan Berkuasa dlm menentukan sesuatu. Plan asal cuti-cuti Pangkor 3H2M kami terpaksa dipendekkan kepada 1M sahaja sebab ayah tak berapa sihat. Apa pun alhamdulillah setiap yg berlaku pasti ada hikmahnya betul tak...dan Pangkor tetap kami jejaki walaupun dlm masa yg singkat! :)

Dari Kulim, kami bertolak ke Marina Island Jetty yg terletak berdekatan dgn Teluk Batik. Tiket hanya RM10/adult, kids dah lupa! Perjalanan menaiki feri dari Marina Island ke Pulau Pangkor hanya memakan masa 10 minit, sangat menjimatkan dan agak cepat berbanding jika anda naik feri dari jeti Lumut (dlm 1/2jam perjalanan tak silap). Sebelum naik feri, kids sempat ternampak obor2 di bawah feri tuh!

Kroni ke Pangkor kali nih agak besar...family abang pruzz, mak ude dan family kami. Kids mmg hepi sebab cousin2 depa join skali! Termasukla si cik mek molek baby Fiqah :p

 

ok dah sampai ke Pulau Pangkor! Kejap je naik feri, tak sempat nak mabuk laut pun haha. Pangkor sangat tenang, dan tak berapa ramai orang. Menurut pakcik pemandu teksi, jumlah tourist semakin berkurangan, tak pastilah kenapa..maybe ramai yg lebih suke pergi ke tpt lain. Ataupun coral di Pangkor tak dpt menandingi kecantikan coral di pulau2 di Terengganu.

 

Lepas letak brg di hotel, kami pergi lunch. Check in hanya dibenarkan selepas pukul 2pm. Lunch di restorang melayu berdekatan hotel...sgt sedap, harga ok..tp lupa nak snap gambar restoran tuh :( Kemudian di tgh panas terik tuh aku dgn berat hati ikut jugaklah ahli rombongan yg nak sgt tgk pantai. isk jln tgh panas mmg gelap abis jadiknya! Tapi bila dah sampai tepi pantai..lihatlah pantai di sini...ohh mmg cun! Air jernih biru hijau..suasana tenang..tapi panas tak boleh ckp la! haha

Lepas puas bergambar, dan membiarkan kulit di bakar mentari, kami pun pergila check in hotel...lepak2 kejap, solat, baring..nak tido kids tak kasik! Kami menginap di Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort...RM450 for 2N. Condition hotel mmg ok..selesa, bersih, tak sempit, suasana agak tenang dan tak pack dgn orang. Overall, mmg recommended!

Baru pukul 4pm depa dah turun pool??? ish ishhh mmg tak elok utk kesihatan tapi bila kids dah merayu-rayu nak turun mana larat nak tahan kan :p

kali ni semua kekanak dah berani nak swimming dlm pool org dewasa dgn pelampung masing-masing. Mama jugak yg masih terkial-kial as usual haha. Rasa macam dah kayuh kaki byk kali, tapi bila timbul lerrrrrr dekat je rupanya :p

Kami tak pergi snorkelling, sebab hasrat nak snorkel tidak mendapat sambutan sepenuhnya dari ahli rombongan cik kiah yg lain. Makanya ptg tu cuma berkayak sambil membuang peluh selama lebih kurang 15 minit... tu pon semput oiiii igt senang ke nak kayuh hihi lenguh jugakla anggota badan :p

Ok sekian dulu entry kali ni... tak larat nak tulis pjg2 sebab agak bz. Lupa nak ckp hotel kami tu RM450 for 2 nights inclusive of breakfast ok. Kids patutnya dia charge RM7.50 tapi time turun mkn tu dia tak minta bayaran pun. Alhamdulillah :) Buffet spread okla jugak....berpatutan dgn harga yg kami byr tuh.

Overall kids mmg hepi giler pegi Pangkor kali ni..walaupun cuma semalaman, tapi depa hepi sbb dah berani terapung2 dlm kolam dewasa. Asyik buat aksi terjun tiruk jer!

Geng Lunch

Aida has made a special entry for all of us over here which somehow i feel it is important for me to share some of our special shot captured during few of our lunch outing together.

@ Little Taiwan Bangsar South taken few yrs back. The girl on your right is now specky-less ok as she has just undergone a lasik procedure with Prof Muhaya..glamer gitu :p

@ Amarin MV last yr. The girl on your left is now carrying her 5th child. Haaaa come again yg ke-lima???? haha cepat sape nk lawan sila sila angkat tangan! muahaha. The one in the pink tudung is the most senior among us, but she pretty looks just at about our range (oh jgn kembang ye kakak!)

@ Amarin MV last yr bersempena bonus yg baru keluar. Nothing new with these girls except those two in the middle are currently hooked up to the 'work-out and exercise' thingy akakaka. Sibuk betul update Run Keeper depa dekat watsapps every weekend :p Yg paling kiri now selalu sibuk susah nak bersua muka, yg paling kanan adalah adik paling bongsu dlm group ini.

Time lapar sorang pon bolayan and malas pandang kamera. Inilah tabiat buruk ahli geng lunch..time lapar jgn harap nak pandang kiri kanan!

i dont hv time to write a long entry, but i think the one that i love most about geng lunch is that we love to eat, whatapps and do online shopping. Especially shawls. shawls. and shawls.

school holiday is coming!

School holiday is coming! I am now left with 2 working days before taking a long 1 week break for the family's holiday i.e. hubby's cousin wedding back at his hometown in Kulim, then we're heading down wards to Pangkor, then a one night stay in Genting Highlands before going back to our home sweet home :)

Last Sunday Ammar had an infection at his larinks, him body temp spiked to 39.5 celcius, he lost his normal voice to a donald duck kind of voice (serak2 n halus comel bunyinya). He's getting better today, and we highly hope he will recover completely before our journey this friday.

A colorful red velvet cake for Roziana's son birthday celebration at his taska. Few hours after the celebration she emailed me saying this...

Kak… kawan2 ammar kata:

“Cantiknya kek ammar!!”

“sedapppnya kek merah niii… nak lagi teacher!”

Cikgunya pun makan bertambah..

Alhamdulillah n tqvm ziana...glad that Ammar n his friends enjoyed the cake :)

utk baby Safiyya who turns 1 already! Her mama apparently is one of my loyal rv fans, but this time around she settled for a chocolate cake for Safiyya's birthday celebration at taska.

Selamat Hari Guru Cikgu!

Thanks to hubby for searching high n low on these teacher's day gifts. The blessing of working in a flexi environment, he can go run and about at his own convenience :p

Selamat Hari Guru buat semua cikgu, ustazah dan ustaz yang pernah dan sedang mengajar anak2 kami - Idlan, Firas & Ammar. Moga Allah sentiasa melindungi anda semua, dilimpahkan rahmat dan dikurniakan kesabaran dan kecekalan yg tinggi dlm mendidik mereka dan rakan2 mereka untuk menjadi mukmin yg soleh, berjaya dan berguna buat agama dan bangsa.
Buat cikgu2 lain di luar sana..terutama buat semua ex-cikgu2 saya, terima kasih cikgu!! Saya mungkin tidak berapa ingat dgn nama semua cikgu2 yg pernah mengajar saya...tapi doa saya moga cikgu2 sentiasa dilindungi Allah dlm apa jua yg dilakukan.

Tapi apa2 pun, alhamdulillah di atas berkat didikan cikgu2 semualah yg membuatkan saya berjaya seperti hari ini (eh eh berjaya kah aku? toing toingggg perasannn!!)

Kad untuk ibu

Kad dari si anak buat mama dia....kebetulan anak Aida dan Aini pun menulis ucapan yg sama.

Insya Allah sayang..kasih mama hingga ke syurga buatmu dan adik-adik semua :)

Saja letak post ni..mana tahu bila dia besar nanti blog ini masih wujud...paling tidak ada jugalah kenangan yg ditinggalkan buat tatapan si anak :)

Backdated orders

It's Thursday already, and we only left with 1 day before the weekend..how time flies!

First of all, Happy Teacher's Day to all the wonderful teachers in this world.
May Allah bless you with His rahmat, and grant you the endless strength and patience in educating your students.
I admit that i am not a good teacher to my children. It is not easy to keep up with your emotion and patience while teaching the kids, tak kena gaya we may tend to raise our voice and lose control during that period.
Hence, i salute all the teachers who manage to conduct their jobs well in raising and educating our kids, shaping their future and made them to become a better person. Terima kasih cikgu2, semoga Allah membalas segala jasa dan pengorbanan cikgu! Oh my wish also goes to hubby, who apparently is also a 'teacher' only that his students are of different level and age :)

Ok this is pecan butterscotch cake made for Baiti, which she ordered to be brought back to her kampung in Johor for a mother's day celebration. Baiti said the cake was a bit dense and heavy, and she prefers for a lighter texture in future. tq for the comment dik, we the bakers at times find it quite hard to suit everyone's taste. So far those who ordered this cake before said the texture was just nice to their likings. Now i have a person that says the cake is a bit dense...hurmm so i guess it's time to continue the searching for the ultimate pecan cake recipe! hehe

But baiti also said the cream and butterscotch sauce are yummie!...so i'll just stick to my current recipe then for these 2 parts! :p

Devils food cake for mama buyung Nida who happened to have a bau-bau bacang with my hubby. tq dear for the self pick-up n cravings over my cake hehe..moga sentiasa sihat sepanjang tempoh pregnancy ni ok!

Red velvet ganache for my ex-neighbour Sherry who now moved to Seri Kembangan and settled there for good. Tqvm beb, moga ko bahagia selalu di sana! hehe

 

last but not least, walnut dcb for hubby's colleagues n peers in mmu.

I think now i've a new-found hobby which i shall share later in this space. Kind of excited and determine to work towards a healthy lifestyle....tapi baru 3 hari je pun start, so cannot tell much whether it'll remain as a hobby and passion, just like what i have with baking :p 

My umi just gotten back from her Europe trip. She finally had her first snow experience, which i envy the most. Mount Titlis Switzerland, i sure will come after you in the few years ahead insya Allah!

He admitted that he initially thought of buying a small brooch for me..tapi mahal and tak cukup duit, so he settled for this instead.
