Leaving on a jet plane

It is just few hours before the departure time and I am yet to done with all the packing thingy.
I just couldn’t tolerate with the existing workload, on top of the new ones coming in berderet-deret since yesterday. Everything was like URGENT and important, and I am dumb-stuck on which one to prioritize first and which to go later. Came to the office this morning, received a special email from the big bos asking for some urgent report, which caused me gotten a migraine strike early in the morning..till now…phewwwww.

I am in a complete mess. And I foresee the circumstances will remain the moment I get back to the office next week. Everybody must be mad at me for leaving their requirements unattended. Or shall I just take it as “lantak pi la…ignorance is a bliss!”

I am full with mixed emotions. Excited, anxious, worried, sad. Not sure whether I can survive the trip without darling hubby, and some more having to leave my eldest two behind. Don’t know whether I can mind the stairs or escalators pushing the stroller, all by myself. Don’t know whether I can do all the check-ins, carry the luggage, and whatnots, all by myself. Yes my beloved mum will tag along, but still it is not the same with my darling hubby! My oh my, I never get separated with the three of them all this while. It was indeed not an easy decision to make in the very first place. I know darling hubby can take good care of them while I am away (they even have planned to watch Kungfu Panda together, you know, the daddy-son day’s-out-kind-of-thing hehe). I worried on myself most, even hubby also worry about me hoho (doakan kite yang!!).

Anyway, my eldest has done with his first tri-exam. He got the followings so far:

BM paper 1 – 93
BM paper 2 – 96
Pendidikan Teras Islam – 96
Jawi – 98
Seni – B ( I made a sketch for a Mother’s Day card, but he didn’t follow exactly as I what I did, but doesn’t matter seni jer kan hehe).

And this caught us (mama & abah) into laughter the most:

Idlan cakap, manela idlan tahu nelayan tu ape.

Adusssss lepas ni kena kasik dia tgk drama melayu lebih byk lagi :p

Ladies' Day-Out

A quick lunch at SCC Mid Valley last Friday, and we managed to catch up on few important things aren't we ladies???

I guess this is what friends are for (apart from your beloved MOH of course!) - a shoulder to cry on, gossiping, knowledge sharing, facts & myth revelation, and whatnots. Had a great and lengthy discussion on certain matters, laugh heartily over funny revelations and most importantly we managed to relieve our stress over the work-load issues kan farra kan!!!

Thanks korang for the great time (and also the great lunch --> pancake durian terbaek kannnn :p)

We should be doing this more often ladies.

Macaroon

My very first macaroon!!!!
Hohoho jangan salah anggap ok. I didnt made this myself, instead these were ordered from the Glaze KL (using Groupon!).

The verdict/comments from the 'not-macaroon-pro:
-too sweet even for a sweet-tooth person like me :p
- i thought the macaroon is thick (based on the pictures shown on the internet) but hey it's quite thin actually
- the strawberry flavor tastes weird (read: the filling), but chocolate and vanilla tastes better
- both hubby & kids do not like it, so i may just scrap off the idea of taking annual leave just to try out doing macaroon on my own (even though i've actually gathered few recipes on the internet, and read the tips and tricks in doing this little tiny piece)
- again, scrap off the idea of serving macaroon as dessert for Firas's upcoming birthday (hahh memang lambat lagi but remember, i am a planner and thinker! :p)
- personally i think the price is expensive (RM17 for 6pcs of macaroon, tu pun after discount using Groupon). Based on my reading, people says you may not be able to produce your very own macaroon after first try, you may need to try out again and again and do some little practice before being able to make a very nice macaroon. So that's probably why people sells it at premium price :)
- Despite all of the above, i still vow to myself to at least try making this little tiny creature once in my life. Tunggu ok.. i will definitely update via this blog after i manage to accomplish the mission haha!

Selamat Hari Guru kpd semua cikgu di sekolah, cikgu universiti, cikgu taska, cikgu tadika & semualah yg bergelar pendidik. Anda semua memang HEBAT, tanpa anda siapalah kami & anak2 kami di dunia ini. I luv u loads teachers (termasuklah hubby saya muhehhehe)!!!

p/s: Idlan dah start marathon exam hari ini. Gud laks sayang, mama and abah know u can do it caiyo caiyo!!!!

mode "RISAU"

Saya, mama yang sedang risau amat sekarang ini.
Risau sebab anak sulung nak exam minggu depan. Peperiksaan penggal pertama yer.

Seminggu nak exam, baru sekarang mama suruh si anak ulangkaji.
Bila tanya anak, dah belajar sampai mana? Si anak pun jawab..sekian sekian.
Dusss lagilah mama panik, sebab dah banyak belajar, maka banyaklah kena ulangkaji!
Dusss sempat ke tidak ni????

Kelmarin, mama buat jadual ulangkaji ekspress. Hari ini belajar subjek apa, esok subjek apa, dan seterusnya. Dengan harapan…sempatlahhh cover semua!!!

Kalau ikut mama dia, style mama zaman dolu-dolu..memang jenis yg suka study last minute.
Tapi last minute tu, memang mama pulun habis-habisan lah. Siap berdoa supaya tak jatuh sakit, sebab kalau tiba-tiba demam, duss harus kosong lah kertas jawapan mama sebab tak sempat study :p

Saya tak pasti kalau si anak sulung ni boleh ikut style mama dia – study last minute.

Serius saya risau, in fact risau saya sekarang ni lebih over berbanding risau diri sendiri time nak sit exam dulu :p

Minggu ni, setiap hari saya tak benarkan si anak sulung keluar bermain petang2. Lepas balik sekolah, kena study dgn abah (sebab mama balik lambat dr abah). Weekend pun tak boleh keluar ke Jusco atau Tesco, kena study jugak.

Uh uhhh doakan anak saya yer!

p/s: Sekarang mama dah tahu macam mana rupa pokok keembung. Sangat teruk ok general knowledge mama....:p

Mother's Day

Pagi ni bila sampai ke ofis, terus teringat kat acik cleaner di ofis ni.
Macam biasa turun ke kantin utk beli sarapan, tapi kali ni aku beli extra kuih RM2.
Nampak jer acik tu, terus aku kasi kuih tu…ckp kat dia, nnt bila acik free acik makan tau!

Sebenarnya bila tengok muka acik tu, hati rasa sayu.
Dia rajin sangat bekerja, jarang aku nampak dia culas, atau malas time waktu bekerja. Duduk rehat pun kejap2 jer, mungkin take 5 lepas penat cuci toilet dan sebagainya. Ada sekali tu, aku nampak dia macam kurang sihat, mulut ni laju la bertanya…kenape acik tak amik mc je, rehat kat rumah?

Tau ape dia jawab???

Kalau acik cuti, nanti tak dapat gaji.

Dusss rasa bergegar jantung bila dengar jawapan acik tuh.

Sedey kan???

Apa2 pun, hepi mother’s day acik….kuih tu memang tak seberapa nilai dia, tapi saya harap acik hepi hari ni (ntah2 acik tu tak tahu pun weekend lepas mother’s day :p)

Langkawi 30.04.11 - 02.05.11

Percutian yg memenatkan! Itulah yg dapat disimpulkan utk trip ke Langkawi kali ini.

1. Penat sebab jalan dari KL-Utara jem teruk. Hingga kami terpaksa stop bermlm di Sg Petani utk kasik recharge (check in hotel kol 3am tuuu).
2. Penat kena tunggu lama utk naik feri. Manusia punyerla ramai!!!! Agaknye sumer org turun gi Langkawi time cuti Hari Buruh ni kots huhu
3. Penat mencari kereta sewa sebab banyak kereta dah habis! Akhir sekali kami dpt van Nissan Serena (RM200) dan Viva (RM110).
4. Penat Q utk naik kereta kabel. Masya Allah dekat sejam lebih Q, nak turun pun kena Q lagi sekali...gilerrrsss! Oh tiket dah naik yer kawan2...dewasa RM30, kids RM20...dulu dewasa cuma rm18 tau.
5. Ofismate saya kirim set sudu yg bersalut emas di keliling tuh, tapi yg kelakar..masuk 3 kedai semua sudu habis, sold out ok!!! Arghh terbukti ramai giler org datang ke Langkawi time cuti pendek ni! Masuk Idaman Suri, punyerla susah nak bernafas..semput tgk ramai orang, jalan pun selisih bahu.

OKlah, penat nak story, jum layan gambar terus la :)

check in di Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan (di bwh management Holiday Villa), maka bilik pun cun cam holiday villa cuma dia tak kasi sofa bed.

Penat & panas giler tunggu feri, terpaksa bukak baju Ammar. Ni posing before masuk ke dlm feri.

kecik2 dah merasa naik feri..untung budak zaman skarang :p
